Mrs. Elizabeth Ann S. James

Hello Choir Family!

I am very excited about joining the choral team at Judson High School!

I attended Converse Elementary School, Woodlake Hills Middle School, and am a proud graduate of Judson High School. I graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos and started my teaching journey in Bastrop ISD as the music teacher at Mina Elementary School and Bluebonnet Elementary School for one semester. I moved to Houston and was the assistant choral director at North Shore Middle School in Galena Park ISD for 6 years and came back to San Antonio to open Pieper Ranch Middle School in 2018 and taught there for 4 years. I am glad to be back home in Converse and teaching choir at Judson HS and Woodlake Hills MS. 

When I am not at school, I work as a church musician at Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church and pursue master's coursework in school counseling with Southeastern Oklahoma State University. On the weekends, my husband, Cliff, and I like to go on short road trips to explore the hill country and binge Harry Potter movies.
