Dr. Jennifer Heine
Jennifer Heine began her career in education as a 3rd grade teacher in 1996 in Richardson, TX. She was a Webmaster and then Instructional Specialist in the DFW area before moving back home to San Antonio where she became a Technology Specialist in NEISD.
She earned her Bachelor's degree and Master of Arts in Teaching from Trinity University in 1995 and 1996. She then earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Computer Education from the University of North Texas in 2002.
After many years of training and supporting teachers in curriculum, instruction, and technology, she realized that in all of her roles she worked closely with librarians, so in 2013 she decided to return to graduate school to achieve certification to move to this exciting position! Her first library job was at Rolling Meadows Elementary, and then she moved to a Kindergarten through 8th grade library in SAISD. She is ecstatic to have taken the next step up in level to Judson High School!
