On September 11th, 2026, Judson AFJROTC cadets gathered alongside our Converse first responders for the 9/11 Memorial Stadium Climb Ceremony to honor the lives lost and the sacrifices made 25 years ago. Cameras captured the uniforms, the sweat, and the sheer determination of the cadets. The goal was to symbolize the 110 flights of stairs faced by first responders and resemblance in the Twin Towers. Cadets took on 3 sets of bleachers on the home side with our firefighters, and 5 sets of bleachers on the visitor side with our police officers in D.W. Rutledge Stadium. Our remembrance does not ever go unnoticed as the cadets faced the challenge, but the cadets motivated one another to ensure nobody was left behind, to finish strong. This whole event served as a powerful reminder that while the tragedy happened a quarter-century ago, the future leaders of Judson AFJROTC remembrance of this day remains unbreakable. We as a people, will never forget 9/11 and continue to serve our fellow citizens.
