Ms. Emily Peery

Welcome to my AP World History and DC US History classes at Judson High School!!

Biography: My name is Ms. Peery. I am a proud graduate of Judson High School and a former member of the Judson High School band as a tuba player. I attended undergrad at Texas A&M University in College Station and graduated with a History degree. I then attended the University of Pittsburgh and earned my Master's degree in History with a focus on sports history and the global impact of Jackie Robinson. When I returned to San Antonio, I earned my teaching certificate and have worked at Judson High School for 6 years. I have taught World History, AP World History, World Geography, and Dual Credit US History. I also have worked with the TAG, AP, Early College, and Dual Credit programs here. 

When I'm not in my classroom, I love watching just about any sporting event. I hardly ever miss a Texas Rangers baseball game broadcast. I have a dog named Gracie that wreaks havoc in my backyard. I will also be serving as the Social Studies Department Head this year.

10:00-11:20: 2^nd period: AP World History

12:00-1:30: 3^rd period: Conference Period

1:35-3:05: 4^th period: AP World History

3:10-4:35: 5^th period: AP World History

4:35-5:30: Afternoon Tutoring (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
