On Nov 8th, JHS AFJROTC had the honor of participating in the Converse Veterans Day parade. This parade honors all veterans who sacrificed their time, body, and lives for our country. Cadets were in full service dress and used their drill skills and marched in formation down to Converse Park along with JHS Cheerleaders, Dazzlers, and Diamonds. This parade is not just people walking and celebrating, it’s about remembering the brave men and women who gave so much for our country. "Marching in the parade felt really special — we weren’t just showing our drill skills, we were showing our respect. Seeing people cheer and veterans smile made it all worth it. It reminded us why we do what we do and how important it is to never forget those who served." C/1st Lt Mye' Uniq Washington
