Judson High School held their annual Eighth Grade Showcase and Resource Night on Jan. 20, 2026.

During the showcase, eighth graders from all over Judson ISD browsed different programs, clubs and electives they could possibly take their freshmen year. Students from the different programs showcased the benefits of the program and tried to gain the interest of the incoming students to join the different activities during their high school years.

In addition to the academic, sport, club and organization booths, students and their families were able to browse a variety of resource booths from local business and service providers.

Senior Sariyah Adkins, representing child development and education and training stated, “It was super exciting to finally get to showcase our programs and the variety of fun activities that we partake in! Seeing everybody’s shocking facial expressions whenever they saw our robot babies and hearing about our hands-on experiences, they were super excited to see and hear more about us. I absolutely loved showing them the babies and how they actually cry, along with having to change their diapers etc. I also loved talking about going out to our elementary school and actually teaching lessons to children first hand.”
