From July 27th to July 31st, our select returning leadership and potential candidates came together for this year's Key Staff Training. The week focused on building a strong team of cadet that lead our corps for the upcoming school year. Each morning began with PT, followed by drill practice to refresh movements and improve consistency. During this time, cadets earned official drill certifications, which was a major accomplishment for the group. Cadets also participated in leadership talks, uniform preparation, and hands-on activities that helped build confidence and trust. They assisted at Freshman Orientation, meeting new students and sharing information about AFJROTC, which gave them a chance to practice leadership and recruit future members. The IO-mile hike was another highlight, offering cadets the opportunity to connect with new staff members and enjoy the experience together. One of the best parts of KST was team bonding at Converse Park. Cadets relaxed, hung out, and built trust outside the Cadet wing. The week concluded with the announcement of team captains, new annual Wing Goals, and revised Cadet Guide for the upcoming school year.
